Q. Do you create every single page from your imagination, or do you look at other's layouts for inspiration?

A. I think it is a little bit of both. I will see a great "theme" for a page and borrow that part of it and make it my own. Or I will find a design element that I like and I will use just that part. I tried to scraplift a total idea once and the more I played with it, tweaked it, and fussed with it the end product resembled nothing like the original.

Q. How do you choose colors for your layouts?

A. I choose them based on the colors in the pictures. I love to scrap black and white pictures because the color palate is wide open.
