Q. What are some of your former hobbies? How have they affected your scrapbooks?

A. Crafting really affected my scrapbooking because I learned and developed many skills that I use now in my scrapbooks. I was already comfortable with using colors and patterns. I was comfortable with using all sorts of mixed media-buttons, paint, fabric-so I didn't hesitate to use them in my layouts.

Q. What is your best organizational tip?

A. I keep a box near me while I work and I throw my pieces of scrap paper into it. When it gets full I take the time to file the scraps according to color. I have hanging file folders that are labeled by color.
