Step-by-Step: Beach Bucket Boys
A boy, a bucket and a beach combine to make dozens of photos for this adoring grandma! It is difficult for me to choose a favorite photo to highlight so I focused on the title and let the little boys happily play beneath it. Here's how I did it: Supplies: Instructions: - Using the digital scrapbooking software product called Scrapbook Max, I collaged my photos and created my title box. I then printed the photo collage in an 8" x 8" format and cut the title box apart from the five photos of the boys.
- I chose an orange dotted paper from the Rough & Tumble collection for the background. I also chose to cut a 1" slice from a blue stripe, and a ½" slice from an orange stripe from the same collection. I stacked the slices 1 ½" from the title block.
- I filled in the space between the title block and the striped paper with inked chipboard letters, a grungeboard piece, an inked "star" shape, a "Spunky" chipboard tag, a designer snap, and the Boy O Boy paper cut from another sheet in the Rough & Tumble collection.
- A layered chipboard journaling strip balanced the lower right side as I layered it over the edge of the bottom photo.
- Three silver brads completed the balance of the overall layout.
- A date stamp is necessary to help a grandma remember exactly when her grandboys were playing at the beach with their buckets!
