Being pregnant is such a wonderful time in a mother's life; I can still vividly recall my first pregnancy. At the time I wasn't into scrapbooking, but I did have a journal documenting my pregnancy from when I first found out to when I felt the first kick, what name we chose, where we shopped for baby furniture and when I went into labor. There are many different ways you can document your pregnancy, either by layouts, mini albums or even a simple picture album. When I was pregnant with my girls, it never occurred to me to take belly shots or even the positive pregnancy test picture which many pregnant women take these days. Looking through the Scrapjazz gallery, I found many beautiful layouts which I would like to share with you. 1. Watching You Grow by Donnajazz - I love the simplicity of this layout, which uses patterned paper and cute embellishments. 2. Ready & Waiting by Andrea Steed - This is an awesome layout showing us that the soon-to-be-mom is ready and waiting for her baby. It's a great idea to journal on the heart.
3. The day I found out I was pregnant by Scrapbook Ally - These pages document the day the page designer found out she was pregnant, as well as her husband's reaction to the wonderful news. I love how she used baby blue paper and added little punched circles. 4. Things I Love/Hate About Being Pregnant by AmyFrancis - Amy had a great idea to document her love and hate for pregnancy. Being pregnant is a great time in our lives and shortly after giving birth we tend to forget about all the things which went on in our pregnancy. I like how she wrote her likes and dislikes in strips of paper. 5. Expecting Baby by Megan Klauer - Megan created a sweet layout of her friend's first pregnancy. The multiple belly shots complete this layout. I especially like her choice in papers and embellishments from Bella Blvd Baby Girl collection. 6. The Growing Bump by Daisymeh - Here's a double layout showing her baby bump growing bigger and bigger. She used many different embellishments such as Washi tape, die cuts and flowers. 7. Reflecting by Lesser - This layout shares an expectant mom's reflection of all the things she and her husband didn't have but that her child will one day enjoy. 8. 9 Months - Oh Baby X2! by Ljpalumbo - Here is a mother's journey through her last month of pregnancy carrying twins. 9. Spreading the News by Andrea Steed - Andrea made a creative layout with lots of journaling on how she spread the news of her first pregnancy. I especially liked how she color coded her journaling. 10. Longing to be a Sister by Justamy - A beautiful layout, heartwarming photo and journaling of a pregnant mom and her little girl longing to be a sister combine to capture a memory.
