Scrapbooking Your Geocaching Adventures

Have you tried geocaching? Geocaching is essentially a treasure hunt using a GPS. There are more than a million caches hidden all over the world and anyone is welcome to search for them. All caches contain a logbook and many also contain trading items or prizes as well. Our family loves searching for hidden treasures, getting out in nature, and exploring new places. From our very first find, we have been completely hooked on geocaching. There are a lot of different ways to scrapbook geocaching finds. Some people create albums with a picture and brief details about each cache they find. I knew that wouldn't work for me. Even if I scrapped just one photo from each cache, we'd quickly be drowning in geocaching albums. Other people only scrap their milestone finds (like their first, tenth, twenty-fifth, etc.). That wouldn't work for me either, as I wanted to scrap the best photos and not be limited to milestones.
Because we love geocaching so much and have introduced it to so many friends and family members, I refer to us as Geocaching Evangelists. I knew that would be the title of my second geocaching layout. Rather than scrap each and every trip with friends and family, I went through the pictures and printed six. I chose a variety of posed vs. candid and single family vs. group. Together, the photos tell a more complete story about us sharing our love of geocaching than the photos from any one trip could do.
I've been saving more photos from our recent geocaching adventures and I'm just about to make my next layout. I think this one will focus on the places geocaching has taken us that we would otherwise never have seen. Geocaching is a wonderful hobby and so much fun to scrap! Products used:
