Step-by-Step: Hike

This photo was from a wonderful day spent hiking in the fresh spring air.  I wanted to choose scrapbooking product that matched the mood of the day.  I chose bright and fresh colors, just like spring flowers!  I added some dimension by adhering the cloud patterned paper in upper corner with the pop glue dots.  I also used them under the "H" in the title.

• Cosmo Cricket Chipboard Letters
• Making Memories Acrylic Journal Stamps
• American Crafts Pastel Cardstock Pack
• Bazzill Black Cardstock
• Imaginisce Petal Pops Flowers
• BasicGrey Urban Prairie Buttons
• BasicGrey Ambrosia Buttons
• American Crafts Thickers Jewelry Box
• Zig Writer Black Journaling Pen
• Glue Dots Pop Up Glue Dots
• Hambly Owl Cardstock Sticker
• Sassafras Lass cloud patterned paper 

Instructions:

1. Trim ¼" off the edges of the light blue cardstock and use a black pen to line the inside edge. Mount it on black cardstock.
2. Cut your large piece of patterned paper to size and use the black pen on the inside edge.
3. Mount the photo on the layout.
4. Cut out and mount the cloud patterned paper pieces.
5. Stamp the journal stamp on a piece of patterned paper and cut around the edges.  Adhere to the layout.
6. Place the chipboard letter used in the title on the journal stamped piece.  Adhere the rest of the letters used in the title.
7. Adhere the owl sticker on the layout and attach your journal strips.
8. Adhere the flowers and buttons in the lower left corner of the layout.
