Step-by-Step: My Mommy
It's easy for me to scrap those cute photos of the kids, the ones where they are smiling, playing, posing-those are easy-peasy. What I find challenging at times is working with Valentine- or love-themed lines. It's not that I don't love my family. But for the longest time I thought I could only scrap photos from Valentine's Day. Silly, I know! But I'm still growing as a scrapper over 10 years later and that means each day I learn a little more and explore a bit more too! I thought the new Making Memories Love Story line was perfect for a layout about how much my little guy loves me every day not just on Valentine's! Read on for the instructions.
Supplies: Instructions: - I inked the edges of the Making Memories Lace Love Notes Paper with ColorBox Warm Red ink. This became the base for my layout.
- Next I cut the Making Memories Artisan Love Notes Paper . I cut it about ¾" off from the middle and inked with a ColorBox Warm Red ink.
- I tied a wide ribbon and adhered it to the page. I used the cute Making Memories Love Notes Heart pins and pinned a Making Memories Love Notes metal charm onto the ribbon.
- I added my 3" x 4" photos to the page.
- I then cut out a heart from the Making Memories Love Notes Heart Doily paper. I added it to the page, popping it up with foam adhesive . I added some pink Stickles to make it sparkly. I stapled one of the Love Note tickets to the bottom of the page.
- I added some Making Memories heart rubons to the photos and a phrase rubon onto the bottom photo.
- Next I added the title using the Making Memories foil alphabet stickers.
- I then added the "adorable" chipboard and secured with a Love Notes brad.
- I finished it off with a few more of the tickets and a hand-cut felt heart.
