All about Me: Humorous

I love to laugh. Who doesn't? We all love to smile and laugh. We have things that tickle our funny bone but do we include those funny things in our scrapbooks? Often we forget about them. Let's lighten up our scrapbooks as we consider the things that make us laugh.

• Humor. What's your sense of humor like? Do you like slapstick, wry humor or word plays? Do you enjoy irony or does it go completely over your head? Does sarcasm make you laugh or make you uncomfortable? Thinkquest.org lists the major types of humor. What type of humor describes you? What do you like or dislike? Document it on a scrapbook page.
  
  
• Jokes. Have you ever included a joke on a page? Including jokes can really provide a picture of you. From the jokes you choose to the subjects of the jokes, these facts provide information about you. Consider why you find some jokes funny and journal about it. Kenna included jokes in her layout about her son in her layout "Robby Jokes."
  
  
• People. Who makes you laugh? Who brightens your day? Is there a person or groups of people who consistently make you laugh? Document it in a scrapbook page. In my layout "These People," I used a grouping of photographs to show a special group of people who make me laugh.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Facial Expressions. Do you have a funny facial expression? Include a photograph and journaling about it.
  
  
• Telling it. Are you good at telling jokes? Can you make others laugh? Consider what kinds of things you do to make other people laugh. Do you have a "voice" while telling stories, facial expressions or a certain timing? If you make others laugh, explain how you do it.
  
  
• Stories. Our funniest moments can sometimes happen when we do something and it doesn't turn out as planned. Consider events, introductions, and plans that were funny. Don't forget the "tall tales" that have been passed down. What stories can you tell?
  
  
• Design. Consider incorporating humor into a layout design. Include a fun speech bubble or even a cartoon.

Sprinkle some humor into your layouts. Include stories, photographs and design elements that will make you laugh out loud.
