Step-by-Step: Love

by Sheredian Vickers (Mar 24, 2009)

This is a tried-and-true way to design a multiple-photo layout.  On this layout, you can easily add up to four photos.  The decorative border is punched with a heart punch and then a coordinating piece of cardstock is placed so that it peeks through the punched hearts.  Here is how to duplicate this layout:

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Instructions:

  1. Use heart punches to punch hearts on the bottom edge of the (grey) background cardstock.
  2. Trim a 2" x 12" strip of Juneberry cardstock and adhere to the back of the bottom edge of the grey background cardstock.
  3. Cut the scalloped circle patterned paper in half and adhere one half to the top of the layout.
  4. Trim four pink photo mats to 3" x 5" and ink the edges with charcoal chalk.
  5. Mat photos and tie ribbon around the bottom of one matted photo.
  6. Write a sentiment on a punched heart and use a small safety pin to attach it to the ribbon.
  7. Adhere matted photos to the layout as shown.
  8. Cut a title from Juneberry cardstock with Cricut Home Accents cartridge with the size set to  4½".
  9. Adhere the title above the photos.
  10. Adhere punched hearts randomly on the layout.
  11. Put three diamond bling brads on the left of the layout as shown.
