July 4th. Barbeque, parades, fireworks. But what about decorations?! Don't worry - using scraps and a few items from your scrapbooking stash, you can decorate and host a festive 4th of July celebration. Invitation: After printing and matting your invitation, punch three stars and adhere. Tie a ribbon knot and attach in the center of the middle star using an adhesive dot. ![]() Votive Rings: Measure the circumference around a glass votive candle holder. Cut a length of white cardstock to fit around the holder, overlapping slightly. Cut blue and red cardstock scraps to create a flag. Punch three yellow stars and attach all pieces to the white background using either a Xyron adhesive machine or liquid glue. ![]() Napkin Rings: Tie ribbon around rolled napkins. "Liberty" Bells: Tie ribbon bows onto small bells. Face Painting: Pull out old templates and use them for face painting patterns. With a few supplies and a little creativity, you can create an easy, decorative, festive Fourth of July!
