Happy Halloween!

So, it would make perfect sense that Halloween is the holiday that I scrapbook with gusto. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, I am always checking out the Halloween products to incorporate onto my pages. There is such a wide variety of Halloween products to choose from that doesn't matter if you are a "cute and cuddly" scrapper or a "spooky and realistic" scrapper there are Halloween products out there for you.

The fantastic photo possibilities at Halloween is another reason this holiday excites me. Spooky orange, purple and black decorations, carved jack-o-lanterns with their wide smiling mouths, whimsical floating ghosts and bucketfuls of sweet candy are the perfect backdrop for taking pictures of your little costumed goblins.

Here's a little tip for getting perfect Halloween photos of your children. Have your child dress up in his or her costume the day after Halloween while the leaves are still the bright beautiful colors of autumn and all the decorations have not been taken down.  This will give you some quiet, calm time to take as many photos as you like without the chaos and rushed feeling that we all have on the actual holiday.
