Last-Minute Christmas Gift: Hot Chocolate Pockets

Looking for a cheap but cheerful gift to give a neighbor, friend or colleague and a last-minute one to boot? These hot chocolate pouches take about ten minutes to make from start to finish (depending on how much time you want to dedicate to decorating them) and look like lots of effort has gone into them. Materials needed:
Step One Lay your 12"x12" cardstock in front of you. Measure 1" from either side of your cardstock and score in a vertical line.
Step Two Fold along these score lines.
Step Three Run adhesive along the 1" strips.
Fold along the score lines, thereby adhering the 1" strips to the cardstock. You should now have a 10" x 12" piece of cardstock. Step Four Turn the cardstock horizontally (landscape) on the desk in front of you. Now you need to score at 3 ½" from the left and then again 3 ½" from the right.
Step Five Turn the cardstock back to portrait and score vertically down the middle at 5".
Step Six Now score a vertical line ¾" from the 5" line, one on each side.
Step Seven Fold along the 3 ½" score lines (inwards).
Step Eight
Add a strip of adhesive to the back of the right-side flap and fold it inwards. Fold the left side over the top and press to seal.
Step Nine Fold the pocket in half along the middle score line. Keep the seam you created in step eight on the outside.
Step Ten Fold in the opposite direction along the other score lines, so you end up with an ‘M' shape.
Step Eleven Ink around the edges of scrap paper (approximately 4" x 4 ¼") and adhere to the front and back of your hot chocolate pocket.
Step Twelve Decorate as you wish. I used more scrap paper and a sticker. Be sure to tie ribbon around the pocket to keep it together.
Step Thirteen Add any final decorations and then pop in a couple of hot chocolate sachets, some candy or anything else you would like. A quick Christmas gift ready to go!
