Step by Step: Christmas Love
I struggle each year to find creative ways to scrapbook the holidays. I love buying and collecting all the beautiful supplies. But often I fall into the trap of liking my supplies more than my photos. Pictures at Christmas aren't often as well-thought-out and captured as I'd like. However, when I saw Making Memories beautiful Fa La La line, I was so inspired that only time restricted me from making more! Read on to go through the steps to create this Christmas-y layout! Supplies: Instructions: - Cut a sheet of Making Memories Fa La La Artisan Solid paper in half. Ink the edges with ColorBox Warm Red ink. Adhere to the lower half of the Making Memories Fa La La Poinsettia Red paper.
- Next cut a 1 ½" x 12" strip from the Making Memories Fa La La Skinny Stripe paper, cutting across the stripes . Use a decorative punch or scissors to create an edge for the top of the strip. Ink with ColorBox Olive Green ink.
- Cut a stripe of flowers from the Making Memories Fa La La Poinsettia Stripe paper. Ink the edges with the Warm Red ink. Adhere the striped strip to the page and a holiday ribbon above that. I used a Bo Bunny holiday ribbon, but any ribbon that coordinates will look great!
- Use a Heidi Swapp paper piercer to add Imaginisce Glitter brads to the centers of the poinsettias on the paper strip.
- Adhere your photos to the page.
- Select a Making Memories Journaling Sticker and staple it to the side of the page.
- Add the word "Christmas" using the Making Memories Fa La La Tiny Alphabet stickers.
- The word "love" and the button are from the Making Memories Fa La La Embellishment box.
- Add the Making Memories Hollyberries brad.
- Select another journaling sticker and add it to the right of the title.
- Finish off the journaling sticker with the Making Memories Mini Shimmer Schoolhouse alphabet.
