Step-by-Step: Christmas Euphoria
With this year's holiday season on the horizon and decorations soon to fill my house, I thought I would make a layout to display in my Picture It Pageframe. While thumbing through last year's Christmas photos, I couldn't help but smile when I got to this one. My daughter's anticipation about the gift opening ceremony was something that stirred lots of emotion and past memories. It was a huge reminder to me that I need to slow down this year, to take it all in and to feel the joy and celebration that this wonderful season has to offer. I hope that you can do the same. Supplies: Instructions: - Cut the red polka dot paper to 4 3/4" x 8 ½". Mount a photo on white cardstock and center on top of the red paper. Cut a strip of black cardstock 3/4" x 4 3/4" and slide on the buckle. Attach with glue dots 3/4" up from the bottom edge of the red patterned paper. Add a white scalloped strip to the right edge.
- Using a 6" strip of the Laughing all the Way patterned paper, cut out the design to approximately 6" x 6" with the Cutter Bee scissors. Cut a 3" square of red cardstock; then cut it again diagonally for a photo corner. Attach the corner to the bottom left of the green cardstock base.
- Next, add the cut-out design, filling in with additional cut pieces as desired.
- Adhere a scrap piece of stripe paper 1" x 2 ½" to the right side of the green cardstock. Layer the red polka-dot photo block on top, overlapping the cut-out design slightly.
- Add a title using rub-on word and letter stickers. Punch a circle shape from the American Crafts paper and add to the right side of the photo block. Use a ruler and Zig marker pen to draw the black lines onto the photo corner. Stamp the date with black StazOn ink.
