Step By Step: Sisterly Love

When I came across this colorful photo of my sister and me I knew the perfect scrapbook product to use to complement the colors. American Crafts has vibrantly colored patterned paper and ribbon that are matched perfectly!  I also like to use mix-and-match, handcut heart shapes often and find that they're easy to master with a busy patterned paper.  I cut the heart first and then used a black pen on the inside edge - they're the perfect embellishment for a lovely themed layout!

Supplies:

• American Crafts ‘Allo Paper
• American Crafts Bushels of Fun Paper
• American Crafts Moda Bella Collection Minimal Paper
• American Crafts Boxed Ribbon Laugh
• Making Memories Journaling Stickers Whimsy
• Cosmo Cricket Victoria Chipboard Letters
• Bazzill Black Cardstock
• Bazzill White Cardstock
• Zig Millenium Black Journaling Pen
• Dymo Label Maker

Instructions:

1. Trim ¼" off the edges of the white cardstock and use black pen to line the inside edge; mount on black cardstock.
2. Cut your large piece of patterned paper to size and use the black pen on the inside edge.
3. Mount the photo on the layout.
4. Adhere the fun ribbon to the left border of the layout.
5. Place a journal sticker on the black cardstock and trim around the edges; mount on the upper right corner of the layout.
6. Place your chipboard title letters at a fun angle on the layout.
7. Cut hearts and adhere to the layout.
8. Use the label maker for your journaling and this quick and easy layout is complete!
