Scrapbooking Licensed Toys

Nowadays it is not so hard to find a cartoon scrapbook sticker or embellishment that matches the theme of your layout, such as: Back in the day most of us had to get creative with licensed characters. These techniques are still great for today since there are so many television shows and toys out there that there is eventually going to be a brand where somebody can't find paper-crafting merchandise to match. Use the Packaging. This is honestly the easiest and most likely to be used concept. When your child opens that new Barbie, grab the box and cut out the logo and/or images to add to your scrapbook pages. Please note: most of the packaging today is not acid-free.
Download from the Internet. You can find a lot of different images of your item from the Internet for free. Download them to your computer. After that you have two options.
Use Custom Art. If you're talented enough, paint or draw your own version of the embellishment you can't find. Even better, have the child paint or draw his or her own version of the licensed toy.
Here are three ideas for having that perfect match to your latest project. If you begin to notice a trend of a wanted product that can't be found, contact a scrapbooking manufacturer to express an interest in joining together your favorite licensed item with your favorite paper product company.
