Step-by-Step: The Leaning Tower of Liam

While I was sleeping, I dreamed the title for this layout.  When I awoke, I created it in about an hour!  As always, I pulled colors and themes from my photos. My grandson's circle-patterned shirt, leaning position and red wall provided plenty of inspiration. 

Supplies:

• Bazzill Cardstock
• Jenni Bowlin Red Ledger Paper
• Imaginisce Summer Cool Blue Raspberry Ripple paper
• circle cutting tool
• Pink Paislee's Spiral Sticker Book letters
• Imaginisce Twitterpated Little Critter rub-on
• date stamp
• vine self-adhesive chipboard from Pink Paislee's Fascinating chipboard collection
• Jenni Bowlin Ledger stickers
• black chipboard
• black pen
  

Instructions:

1. Use Bazzill Cardstock as a base.
2. Cut a 6" x 12" piece of Jenni Bowlin Red Ledger Paper and attach 1 ½" from the left side.
3. Cut a wave from Imaginisce Summer Cool Blue Raspberry Ripple paper and attach just to the side of the number 74 on the ledger paper.
4. Using a circle cutting tool, cut three 2" circles and one 3" circle for embellishments on the bottom left-hand corner.
5. Rub on a number image and use Pink Paislee's Spiral Sticker Book letters to decorate one of the 2" circles.
6. Use the cutest birdie rub-on from Imaginisce Twitterpated Little Critter line to decorate one of the other 2" circles.
7. Use a date stamp on the remaining 2" circle.
8. Arrange the four circles as shown in the image and adhere to the layout.
9. Use the vine self-adhesive chipboard from Pink Paislee's Fascinating chipboard collection to complete the embellishment corner.
10. Arrange the title letters over the surface of the top and bottom borders of the photo.
11. Use a diecut machine to cut the word "the" from the black chipboard.
12. Use the Jenni Bowlin Ledger stickers for the words "leaning tower of."
13. Choose the Pink Paislee Winsome Fascinating Collection Blue chipboard alphabet chipboard stickers  for the letters of the child's name.
14. Outline the name in black and add a black chipboard period, creating a black chipboard visual triangle on your page to move the eye around your entire layout!
    

I'm certain that you have plenty of photos of your babies in ‘leaning positions' as they make their first attempts to sit up that you could use to create your own "leaning tower" page!
