Puppy Embellishments
What do you think of when you hear the word "puppy"? Most of us think of cute, cuddly, paws, wet kisses, etc. Having owned five puppies during our marriage and training our sixth one now, we have all sorts of puppy goodies around. What types of embellishments can you use on a puppy page? How can you remember those moments that go by too fast? Let's look at some ideas. Embellishment Ideas When scrapbooking those puppy photos, there are many cute puppy embellishments that you can include. You can even make a puppy mini-book using these 10 embellishment ideas: - Use a hexagon punch to make a nametag with your puppy's vital stats.
- Use pre-made puppy stickers.        Â
- Use doggie die cuts.
- Match embellishments to objects in your photo.
- Include a copy of the puppy's papers, contract, or purchase receipt.
- Include a copy of the papers from the first vet visit.
- Use a swatch from an old leash. (Puppies tend to chew through them quickly.)
- Keep the packaging from puppy's first toys and add to a page.
- Cut a piece of the packaging from puppy's first food.
- Stamp puppy's paw print onto a scrap piece of paper and add to your page.
Puppy Inspiration I chose to use embellishments that matched items within my photos. I die-cut a fence out of cork to match the fence in the photo. I also added leaves to match the leaves within the photo. The color scheme matches our puppy and the colors in the photo.
