Leave Memories Unmounted Stamps

Themed stamp sets: They’re the perfect tool for card making, themed scrapbook albums, and paper crafts alike. Ever since unmounted stamps have hit the market big-time, my collection of stamps has been steadily growing. My most recent additions are some fantastic themed sets from Leave Memories.

What makes Leave Memories different? Several things stand out, from the wide variety of the selection to how the stamps are packaged to the fantastic project ideas available at their web site.

Selection
When Leave Memories says themed set, they mean it! An alphabet set isn’t just an alphabet set. It also includes coordinating word stamps and designs, and often a second coordinating alphabet in a smaller size. For instance, the DivaFied font set shown here includes three full alphabet sets as well as numbers and several funky shapes that complement the alphabet designs.

Another example is the set called “This is Home.” It includes a variety of phrases and words, an alphabet and several home-related images. All of the pieces coordinate to create a versatile and comprehensive set. Creating themed albums, card sets or other projects is a breeze.

Storage
Unmounted stamps are wonderful because they’re so easy to store and take up so little room. However, reading every word and alphabet backwards when I go looking for stamps to use on my pages can turn into a real brain-stretching exercise.

Solving that dilemma, all Leave Memories rubber stamps come with a unique label system with a full-color, full-size index of all of the images for each stamp set. The index sheets make knowing what you have to work with a whole lot easier.

Each 6” x 9” index sheet is also triple-hole punched so you can add them to a small binder for easy reference and portability. If you use the EZ Mount static cling system to mount your stamps, you can also use the index card as a storage sheet and stick your stamps right to the front of the card. Leave Memories even offers blank index sheets to help you include all of your unmounted stamps in this handy storage system.

Project Ideas
Finally, after spending a few minutes at the Leave Memories web site, I was amazed at the project ideas available for each stamp set. The Leave Memories designers do an unbelievable job of showing the versatility of each set and give several innovative ideas for using them in new and exciting ways.
