Artistic Scrapper is a one-stop shopping experience where you can buy unique handmade papers from around the world, in sizes appropriate for your scrapbooks, and at affordable prices.

They offer over 100 different types of papers, from almost a dozen countries including India, Japan, Thailand, Africa, Italy, and Nepal. Many of the papers are made in third world countries, mostly in small villages or family -owned mills. Artistic Scrapper takes pride in knowing that their business and customer purchases are helping to maintain the economic viability in these countries.

The majority of the papers are made using indigenous and replenishable plants that grow plentifully in their communities. Many also include recycled cotton rags or other resources that would usually be considered trash. These earth-friendly paper making techniques reduce our dependence on forests and reduces the waste in landfills.

Each sheet of paper has its own beauty and is some of the most unique paper I’ve ever seen! Unfortunately, scans of the papers don’t even come close to doing them justice! Many of them include speckled fibers, glittery specks and a translucent lacy design.

Papers start at about 50 cents all the way up to $3.00, but the average is about 75 cents, which is very comparable to regular scrapbook papers, but with more texture and eye appeal than traditional paper lines.
