You may have bought your punches years ago, but that doesn't mean they're out of date. Before you pack away your punches, never to be seen again, take a look at these fun projects made using some of my favorite punches.
1) "You Deserve a Star" tag
Instructions:
Instructions: Cut the cardstock to make a card. Use the square punch to cut a window in the front of the card. Use the corner punch on both the front bottom corners. Use the flower punch to cut out a flower from patterned paper. Adhere the same patterned paper behind your punched corners so the paper shows through. Attach the punched flower to the inside of the card so you're able to see it through the window. Attach a strip of ribbon to the top of the card. Use paint around the edges of the card and around the window.
Instructions:
Instructions: Cut out various size strips from five different styles of patterned paper and arrange on the layout. Cut out hearts from another coordinating paper using the heart punch. Arrange the hearts into the shape of flowers at the top right of the layout. Add some ribbon for stem and leaves. Rub on the word "Memories" at the top of the page. Mat a photo on a piece of coordinating cardstock. Ink around the edges of layout. ![]() 5) "Brighter Than Sunshine" layout Supplies:
![]() Instructions: Cut three strips of paper, about the same size, from different coordinating patterned papers. Cut a thin strip from another patterned paper. Attach to the cardstock at various slight angles. Attach dot die cuts in between two of the strips, about 1" apart. Attach punched circles to one of the larger strips of cardstock. Cut a square from another piece of patterned paper to use as an offset mat for the photo. Attach letter stickers to upper left corner of layout. Attach circle stickers around the square piece of paper. Cut a flower with the punch from one of the papers and add to the top right corner of the layout above the photo. Put a button in the center of the flower. Use paint around the edges of the layout. |
