Product Review: Prima Holiday Lights Collection - Lustered Leaf Sprays

When Prima released their Holiday Lights collection I immediately fell in love with the Lustered Leaf Sprays.  I wasn't disappointed when I finally got to play with them for the first time.  They are available in several different colors including white, gold and silver.  Each "spray" comes with 12 6" leaf stems.  I was surprised by the texture of this product - I expected it to be more like paper, but instead, they have a plastic texture, making them much sturdier.  In fact they bend, making them extremely easy to work with. 

I chose the white, feeling that it would complement my projects better than the other colors.  These have quickly become one of my favorite ways to add an extra touch to my projects.  For my "Lovely" layout I simply stuck two of the stems behind the flower.  It gave the layout a nice touch of texture.  To adhere I simply used glue dots!  Depending on what I'm working on, I will sometimes cut the stems to a particular length, with no problems. 

The white are slightly opaque and there are two different versions - a slightly clearer white and a more solid white.  The leaves also have a lightly "puffy" texture giving them extra texture and dimension. 
 
These would work beautifully for almost any project - I have used them on cards, altered projects and layouts and love how they complemented each one.  I have been most impressed with how sturdy these are and I love the bendy plastic texture!
