Product Review: Prima E-Line
by Rachel Myerson
(Nov 20, 2009)
Each product in the E-Line costs a mere $1.49. Each pack of flowers contains 30 flowers of assorted colors and sizes, all of which are approximately 2". The flowers are packed flat so that none are wrinkled or crushed, every flower in the pack is perfect and ready-to-use. The quality of the flowers is as good as any paper flowers and what I would expect from Prima. There are also coordinating embellishment packs, each of which contains a total of 60 self-adhesive gems and pearls in a variety of colors and sizes. The gems and pearls are easy to use for the centers of flowers or anywhere else that you would use a gem or pearl. Here are a couple of projects I made using green flowers and embellishments from the Prima E-Line:
Of course, the big question is: does the E stand for economical? Perhaps. Of course, it could also stand for elegant, extravagant, or extraordinary. Even though I don't know what the E stands for, I do know that I love these flowers and embellishments and at $1.49, I don't have to struggle with the choice of which color to get, because I can afford several. As for the jar, you can always recycle an old empty Prima jar or spice jar and put your E-Line flowers in that.
