Step-by-Step: Hailey at Play
I have been loving the recent trends popping up in the scrapbooking world...circles, scalloped edges, more photos on layouts, and so many others. I decided to play around with circles for this layout. It was so nice to be able to embellish my layout using my circle punches and a few scraps that I probably would have just ended up throwing away!
Supplies : Directions : - Cut 4" x 6" photos to 5" x 3 ½", and 5" x 3 ¼".
- Adhere photos to the left side of the white cardstock, using a ruler to keep them ¾" in from the edges of the cardstock.
- Cut a strip of patterned paper to 3/4" x 6 ¾". Using a circle punch, cut about a third of a circle into the patterned paper. Adhere the patterned paper strip to the layout alongside the photos.
- On patterned paper, print "PLAY" in a bold outline font. Cut the letters out, and adhere them to the bottom photo in the top left corner.
- Print out your journaling on solid cardstock. Cut journaling into strips, and adhere across the bottom photo and patterned paper on the right side.
- Using circle punches, punch out three larger circles and four smaller circles, in varying sizes. Adhere the circles around the edges of the layout, and in the center of the cutout on the patterned paper strip.
