Chalkboard Technique

by Jane Swanson (Jun 17, 2008)

This method involves stamping white pigment ink onto dark-colored cardstock and dusting with chalks to give the appearance of writing on a chalkboard with colored chalk.

1_127Supplies

  • cardstock, preferably black for a true "chalkboard" appearance
  • white pigment ink
  • chalk
  • applicator, white cotton balls with alligator clip or Q-tips
  • Swiffer cloth (dry) or paper towel or Kleenex

Step One

Ink the chosen stamp with the white pigment ink. Don't wait for it to dry.

Stamp the image onto dark cardstock.
