Celebrating National 4-H Week
by Cindy deRosier
(Oct 12, 2012)
Did you know that National 4-H Week takes place each year during the first full week in October? 4-H members, leaders, and alumni across the country spend the week celebrating and promoting the nation's largest youth development organization. I was a 4-H member from age 10 until I aged out at 19. Through 4-H, I had many amazing experiences and opportunities that I would never have had otherwise. I am extremely grateful to all the leaders and older members who helped me, as the 4-H motto states, "To make the best better." I can honestly say that who I am today is due in large part to my years in 4-H. What better time than National 4-H Week to say thank you to those special leaders who were so influential.
I made these three simple cards using the 4-H colors of green and white. For more products to scrap your 4-H experiences or to make cards for those special 4-H'ers in your life, check out the scrapbook supplies that Scrapjazz carries, especially farm- or 4-H related. Supplies:
