I love making my own hand-made books and journals. Japanese stab binding is yet another technique for binding loose pages together into a book. In Japanese stab binding, the front of the book should look the same as the back except for the place where you tie off the thread. |

Piano Hinge Book

This book looks so complicated, but it’s really quite simple to make. For the hinge spine use bamboo skewers, or be creative and use other straight objects such as twigs, pick-up-sticks, or chopsticks. |
