Step-by-Step: Sharing Secrets
The Heartwarming Vintage line from Crafty Secrets is full of versatile stickers and cutouts. I used products from this line to complete this layout of my boys at the beach. Here is how you can re-create this layout. Supplies: - 2 sheets of 8.5" x 11" cardstock (brown and natural)
- 8.5" x 1" scrap of patterned paper
- 7 3/4" x 3 1/4" scrap of patterned paper
- small scraps of patterned paper for photo corners
- Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage Booklet (Wacky and Wonderful vintage images)
- Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage Stickers (Dog's Life)
- assorted buttons
- stapler and staples
- Making Memories foam stamps
- brown ink
- Creative Memories corner rounder
- sandpaper
- 4" x 6" photo
- Sakura pen for journaling
Instructions: - Trim the brown cardstock to 8" x 10 1/2". Use your corner rounder to round the corners, then ink the edges. Adhere it to the natural cardstock.
- Add the 8.5" x 1" strip of patterned paper approximately 2" from the top of the layout. Add the larger scrap of patterned paper approximately 1.5" from the bottom of the layout. I used Chatterbox patterned paper from my collection of scraps.
- Sand the edges of your photo and adhere it to your layout over the top strip. Leave room at the top of your layout for a border and on the left for your sticker. Trim small corners of patterned paper and add them to the corners of your photo.
- Use your foam stamps and ink to add the title to the bottom scrap.
- Trim the letters for "sharing" from the Crafty Secrets booklet, add staples to the letters and then adhere them overlapping the bottom scrap.
- Add a row of buttons across the top and three buttons in the bottom left corner.
- Add your stickers and journaling.
Note: Ink the edges of all your papers, stickers and letters before adding them to your layout.
