Step-by-Step: Easter Fun
by Jaime Warren
(Mar 9, 2006)
This is a super easy but fun-to-create Easter layout. I love to add a touch of doodling to my layouts and this one was perfect for just that! ![]()
Step One: I stamped my desired flower stamp onto the Tumblebeasts patterned paper and then cut the flowers out. ![]() Step Two: I cut the Tumblebeasts ricrac and created the stems for the flowers. I attached buttons for the centers. ![]() Step Three: I matted my photo onto cardstock and then placed it directly to the right of the "flower patch" I had created. Step Four: Doodling time! Using a ruler, I created a corner border for my photo and then filled it in with the Souffle pen. ![]() Step Five: I created an embellishment group using the Tumblebeasts cardstock sticker, photo turns, brads and button. I then used my marker and pen to create petals for the button. ![]() Step Six: More doodling! I created the leaves for my flowers using my black marker and then filled in the edges with the Souffle pen. ![]() Step Seven: I attached three Tumblebeasts Spring cardstock stickers to the left of (but overlapping) the photo. ![]() Step Eight: Last but not least I created my title using a transparency and Microsoft Word and used a ruler to create my journaling lines. ![]() Super simple, but full of Spring color and flowers!
