Step-by-Step: Baca & Sabre
I love using funky, fresh, and fun products on my layouts. Using black and bright green papers and embellishments can make your layouts spunky and help add that extra "pop." This month, I decided to create a layout using only those colors, with just a couple hints of white for contrast. Below you will find the instructions to create a fresh, fun layout of your very own. Supplies: Instructions: - Trim Valet paper to fit just inside the cardstock. Ink the edges of the inside paper, if desired.
- Next, cut the Avenue paper to create a photo mat for your photo. Adhere to the bottom left-hand side of the layout.
- Now, you will apply the stitching or stitching doodles. Stitch around the photo mat and around the background paper. You can add some accent stitches on the top left of the page, if you would like, to give balance to the layout.
- Then, add a journaling circle to the right of your photo, as shown, and apply the Felt Fusion flowers. Cut them apart from the strip, and add a brad to the middle of each for a little funk.
- Next, carefully apply the fuzzy rub-on words, and add a bit of journaling to the journaling circle.
- You're almost done! Use a Love Elsie sticker tab and add it to the top of your photo. Add a Felt Fusion flower with a brad to jazz up the tab and to add some cuteness! Finally, use the Heidi Swapp word stamp on the tab.
