Step-by-Step: Family Christmas

by Nora Noll (Dec 13, 2007)
Christmas is my favorite holiday. However, I find it very difficult to scrap. The brand new Figgy Pudding line from BasicGrey inspired me to get out some of my old Christmas photos and create a page. Here is how I created "Family Christmas" step-by-step.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Ink edges of all patterned paper and the circles.
  2. Adhere the 10" by 6 ½" piece of Kringle paper to the background. It should be placed 1" from the top and 1" from the left side of the page.
  3. Adhere inked circles ¾" from the top of the Kringle paper. The far left and far right circle should slightly overlap the edge of the background paper.
  4. Adhere rub-on stitches through the middle of the circles.
  5. Adhere the Fig patterned paper 1 ¼" on the left and 2 ½" from the bottom of the page.
  6. Adhere photo (matted on black) 1 ½" from the left edge and 2" from the bottom of the page.
  7. Adhere the Heidi Swapp chipboard letters directly above photo, so that the edges butt the top edge of the black mat.
  8. Adhere the chipboard title 2" from the right and ¼" from the bottom of the page.
  9. In the upper right-hand side of the photo, adhere the star sticker, the chipboard tag and the flower. Adhere the chipboard bracket to the bottom left corner of the photo.
  10. For the finishing touch, adhere the rub-on stitches ½" from the right side and 1" from the bottom of the page.
