Step-by-Step: Family
Last fall's photo of my son's growing family gave me the perfect opportunity to use this kraft fall leaf paper and coordinating checks from Scenic Route. Supplies: Instructions: - I wanted to expose as much of the green leaves on the kraft paper as I could so I carefully arranged the overlapping patterned paper to show three leaves on one side and one leaf on the other.
- I cut a 6" x 12" piece of the leaf patterned paper to serve as the main mat for the photo and adhered it an inch and a half from the right side.
- The coordinating check paper in 3" x 8" and 3" x 2" were tucked on either side of the photo for balance.
- The title and date letters are matching stickers with these papers and I adhered the letters one on top of another to create a title block.
- An oval tag was used to identify my grandsons and their ages in the photo. I accented the tag with a circular clip.
- To carry over my theme of growing, I chose some Fancy Pants scrolling chipboard that mimics vines or branches.
- I inked the chipboard with lettuce and cranberry Adirondack inks, using triangular make-up sponges.
- Overlapping the photo and the title, the vines help to enhance my theme that this little family is growing.
