Step-by-Step: Buried in the Colorful Leaves
Autumn is my favorite time of year. Hayrides, pumpkin picking and playing in the leaves are just a few activities that you can enjoy in the fall. When I saw the Scenic Route Sumner Collection, I knew that the papers would be perfect for some snapshots that I had of Charlotte playing in a pile of leaves. I had a lot of journaling so I chose to use it to frame the outer edge of the page. To duplicate this page, here is how I created it step by step. Supplies: Instructions: - Ink around the edge of the background cardstock. Journal along the outside edge of the paper with the brown pen.
- Ink the edges of the 10" square of cream cardstock. Adhere to the layout 1" from the top and ¾" from the left and right sides.
- Ink the sticker strip. Trim to 9 ½". Adhere onto the cream cardstock ¼" from the left side and 1" from the top. The end of the sticker will overlap the background paper on the bottom.
- Ink around the patterned paper strip. Adhere so that it slightly overlaps the right edge of the sticker strip. The paper strip will overlap onto the background ¾" on the top and the bottom.
- Ink the file tab. Adhere 2 ½" from the top of the paper and overlapping a small portion of the green sticker strip. Adhere the October sticker and write the date.
- Adhere photos.
- Ink the sun die cut. Adhere so that it overlaps the bottom left corner of the bottom left photo.
- Adhere title.
- Adhere one punched leaf in the upper left corner and one in the lower right corner.
