Step-by-Step: Remember This
I don't have much time to scrapbook lately, so I need to create quick pages using just a few products. For this layout, I was able to use one sheet of Scenic Route patterned paper to give my layout many different accents. The instructions below will tell you how to create a layout like this of your very own - and I think you'll be surprised how fast it'll come together! This layout took me fifteen minutes from start to finish. Supply List: Instructions: Note: Inking was used on all components of the layout. - Trim your sheet of green cardstock to fit inside the sheet of brown cardstock.
- Next, use a corner rounder to round the edges of your photograph.
- Cut the striped strip off the sheet of Scenic Route paper. Use deco scissors to give one of the longer edges a fun look. Trim the strip to fit the height of the green paper of the background.
- Cut the brown dotted strip off the sheet of Scenic Route paper. This will be the "ribbon" on your layout. Trim to fit from the right side of the green cardstock to the outer edge of the striped paper.
- Then, use the corner rounder to round the edges of your photograph and adhere it to the layout.
- Fold your Heidi Swapp floral in half and attach it to the layout. Next, use your circle punch to punch a floral center embellishment from the green diamond section of the Scenic Route paper. Adhere to the floral center.
- Next, cut two phrase strips from the Scenic Route paper. Let the "Remember This" strip serve as a fun additive to the flower embellishment, and the "Good Times" as a tab over the photo.
- Finally, use a pen to doodle some faux stitching around your photo!
