Step-by-Step: We All Smile
Lately it seems I tire of the same old face-front smiling shot. Not that I don't love those of the kids. After all I could never really get tired of seeing their smiling faces. But I love to capture them when they don't know it, those moments where they are unaware I'm there with a camera in hand soaking them up! This is one of those photos taken of my daughter on our summer trip. She truly was having a great time, as her face shows! Read on to learn how to recreate this layout step by step. Supplies: Instructions: - Cut a 9" by 12" piece from the cream side of the Snapdragon paper. Cut one edge with wide scallop scissors. Adhere to the center of the paper.
- Cut a 7" by 6½" piece from the Peony paper. Adhere to the center of the cream paper.
- Adhere a photo to the left side of the paper. Add ribbon across the page. Cut an additional length of ribbon; tie it onto the Soft Flower and adhere to the page.
- Add Thickers foam alphabet.
- Ink the Heidi Swapp letters with Chalk Inks. Add to the page. Use Cricut to cut an ampersand and the word "smile." Ink with Lime Pastel and add to the page.
- Use a green brad for dotting the "i" in "smile." Add a circle die-cut border across the top of the paper.
- Use DMC floss to thread through the button. Adhere to the die-cut circle and then onto the flower.
- Add Creative Imaginations flower brads.
