Step-By-Step: Family Legacy
Are you ready for another 30-minute page? Here's one I think you'll love. Family Legacy is a layout that uses a single 5" x 7" photo, but it has enough open space to accommodate multiple photos if desired. In addition, this page is an excellent way to use up some scraps. Supplies: Get started: - Start with a 3" x 10" piece of patterned paper. Tear off lengthwise to make the strip about 2¼" wide. The finished strip will be 2 ¼" x 10".
- Adhere the strip 1½" from the left edge of the cardstock, leaving a 1" margin at the top and bottom.
- Layer a ½" x 12" strip of coordinating paper ½" from the bottom of the first strip of paper.
- Now place a 1" x 12" strip of coordinating paper along the bottom edge of the cardstock.
- Adhere a 5" x 7" photo in the corner of the intersecting papers, leaving ¼" margins on the left and bottom of the photo. Affix adhesive so that the right side of the photo is open to place a journaling tag.
- Stamp the word "family" and then use letter stickers for the word "legacy."
- Adhere small Prima flowers randomly and put a gemstone in the center of each flower.
- Adhere a large flower in the lower left corner of the photo and anchor with a large brad.
- Cut a tag for journaling or you may use a pre-made tag. Ink the edges of the tag and tie a coordinating ribbon through the top of the tag.
