Step-by-Step: Easy Birthday Cards

by Andrea Steed (Sep 9, 2007)

The Celebration Kit from Rob & Bob Studios is full of fun patterned papers that make perfect birthday cards. Combined with some Rob & Bob Studio epoxy birthday stickers, these birthday cards took only a couple of minutes, and are full of festive fun!

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Trim a sheet of 12" x 12" cardstock into an 8 ½" x 11" sheet.
  2. Next, cut the 8 ½" x 11" piece of cardstock in half, creating two 5 ½" x 8 ½" sheets.
  3. Fold each piece in half to create two 4 ¼" x 5 ½" cards.
  4. Next, cut two 4 ¼" x 3 ½" pieces of patterned paper and adhere them to the bottom half of each card.
  5. Add a glue dot to the back of a silk flower and adhere it to the card so that half of it covers the patterned paper and the other half covers the cardstock.
  6. Add a self-adhesive epoxy sticker to the center of each flower.
  7. Finally, use the white Sharpie paint pen to create a dotted border around the top portion of each card.

Two finished cards, in just a couple of minutes. Festive, quick, and fun!
