Step-by-Step: Magic
I am a person that takes hours deliberating over patterned papers and embellishments in order to create a layout. For my "Magic" layout, I challenged myself to use only cardstock, alphabet stickers and minimal embellishments to complete this page in less than 30 minutes. Here are the directions step-by-step to duplicate this layout. Supplies: Instructions: - To start the layout, place two 4" by 6" photos on a sheet of blue cardstock, with a ½" in between the two pictures. The photos should be 4" from the top and the left photo 1" from the left side of the page.
- Print your journaling on a second piece of blue cardstock that matches the background. Trim the journaling down into an 8 ½" by 1 ½" strip and adhere the journaling directly below the photos.
- Next adhere five of the Heidi Heidi Swapp Writers Block Circles above the photos. Make sure that the first and last circles are even with the each of the photos' outermost edges.
- Adhere a 6" strip of the Doodlebug Paper Frill in between the photos.
- Place three different colored brads in the Paper Frill holes.
- Punch two photo corners from orange cardstock. Adhere one photo corner to the top left corner of the left photo. Adhere the second orange corner to the bottom right-hand corner of the right photo.
- Using the alphabet stickers, adhere the title above the photos, so that the letters overlap the circles.
