Step-by-Step: Feeding Time

by Nora Noll (Jul 20, 2007)

Since I have so many photos to scrap, I am trying to make my pages a little bit simpler. I also am trying to utilize my 4" x 6" photos so that I don't have to crop. This page took me about an hour to complete. Here is how I did it step by step.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Using the Tim Holtz Distress Ink, ink the edges of the background cardstock.
  2. Cut the BasicGrey Patchouli Paper into a 9 ½" by 11" rectangle. Ink edges and adhere to background cardstock.
  3. Trim a scalloped edging from the Paper Frills pack. Ink around all edges and attach to the top of the patterned paper.
  4. Adhere the photos to the layout as shown.
  5. Stamp a journal box. Ink edges and attach to the page, slightly overlapping the right photo.
  6. Using the Breezy Doodle Genie, trace, cut out and ink six random swirls from the Harlow BasicGrey patterned paper. Adhere one swirl around the left corner of the top left photo. Adhere another swirl in the middle of the three photos, so it slightly overlaps the bottom of the top left photo and the middle of the bottom photo. The last five swirls adhere to the bottom right corner of the page.
  7. Using the Heidi Swapp alphabet stickers and the chipboard letters, adhere the title to the top right of the page.
