Step-by-Step: All Together

by Kristi Mangan (May 31, 2007)

For many of us, one of the reasons why we started scrapbooking had something to do with family. I love creating pages about my family and the memories we share together. However, it is not often that I get a group shot of us all together, in one location, at one time! This layout was created for this rare photo I have of my husband's family, all together!

Supplies:

Directions:

  1. Trim light blue cardstock to 8.5" x 11". Ink the edges of the cardstock with black ink. Trim blue bling cardstock to 1.5" x 8.5".
  2. Trim patterned paper to 8.5" x 3". Trim solid patterned paper to 5" x 2".
  3. Round the corners of the solid patterned paper and the photo.
  4. Punch one heart out of the remaining blue bling cardstock. Put an alphabet brad through the center. Ink the edges of the heart.
  5. Starting about one inch from the left, adhere the blue bling cardstock, the white paper frill (trimmed down to 8.5"), and the patterned paper.
  6. Adhere the solid patterned paper and the photo.
  7. Add a corner rub-on to the photo and the definition rub-on below the photo.
  8. Adhere the heart to the corner of the photo.
  9. Add letter stickers for the title.
  10. Finish with some handwritten journaling, including the date!
