Step-by-Step: Hi Card

by Christina Padilla (May 23, 2007)

The Scrapjazz Megastore has the cutest felt ribbon by Rob and Bob Studio and I had to have it! Check out how I used some of it for this bright and happy little card called "Hi!"

Supplies Used:

Instructions:

  1. Cut cardstock down to 6" x 6" and ink all edges.
  2. Cut one 6" x 6" square of the patterned paper and tear the edges. Adhere to the center of the card.
  3. Cut a 1.5" x 6" strip of paper and use scissors to cut a scalloped edge.
  4. Using a CD as your guide, cut a 2" semicircle out of coordinating patterned paper. Put aside.
  5. Cut seven small pieces of felt ribbon and staple to the semicircle, spacing them each about ½" apart. Use staples to adhere felt ribbon pieces to the semicircle.
  6. Place the scallop-edged paper near the bottom of the torn piece of paper. The semicircle will go directly above that.
  7. Cut a 6" strip of flower felt ribbon and place directly on top of the scalloped paper. Use staples to adhere the ribbon to the card.
  8. Add a greeting to the card with mini stickers.
