Step by Step: Providence Mtns.

by Polly McMillan (May 14, 2007)

An enlarged photo, colored monogram letters and some flowered embellishments are all it took to make this layout stand out. Here's how I made it, step-by-step.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Begin by using the Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad on the edges of the 12" x 12" cardstock.
  2. Mount the large photo and the smaller photo on the layout.
  3. Cut an arrow from Chatterbox patterned paper and adhere to the layout.
  4. Place a large silk flower in the lower left corner and mount a circular photo in the center.
  5. Adhere the smaller arrow on top of the large arrow and above the flower.
  6. Attach Prima flowers on the layout and use brads in the center of each flower.
  7. Use the label maker to print information and attach labels to the layout.
  8. Tie a bow on the chipboard letter and mount both chipboard monogram letters onto the layout.
  9. Punch remaining letters for the title using QuicKutz lowercase Studio font and attach to the layout.
