Step-by-Step: Obsessed

There are times in life where you find that you enjoy something so silly that you think you have to hide it. As I have gotten older, I have found that these types of activities are what keep me young and often bring me closer to my six-year-old daughter. I decided that I needed to document my new obsession on a page. I decided that I wanted to keep this page light in subject and in color. The

Doodlebug Loopy Love Color Coordinates Page Kit papers and the new Chatterbox Doodle Genie were the perfect match to create this page.

Supplies:

• Dark Pink and Light Pink cardstock (Bazzill)
• Doodlebug Loopy Love Color Coordinates Page Kit
• Loopy Love Stripes Patterned Paper cut into a 10" by 2" strip
• Loopy Love Dots Patterned Paper cut into a 4 ½" circle
• Loopy Love Icons
• Chatterbox Doodle Genie - Marker Breeze
• Simply Sweet Doodlebug Alphabet Stickers
• Whale of a Punch - Corner
• Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad-Black Soot
• Font: Jayne Print

Instructions:

1. Print journaling onto the bottom of an 8 ½" by 11" piece of light pink cardstock. Ink edges with Black Soot Ink.
2. Ink and adhere the Loopy Love Stripes paper strip ¼" above the top journal line and flush with the right edge of the cardstock.
3. Ink and adhere the Loopy Love Dots circle 1 ½" towards the left edge of the Loopy Love Stripes paper.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Trace doodles from the Doodle Genie onto dark pink cardstock and cut them out. I traced them so that two were on one long "stem" and cut out one by itself. Adhere the long doodle so that it hangs off the left Loopy Love Stripes paper on the left.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Adhere a photo 1" over from the right edge and so that it overlaps the Loopy Love Striped Cardstock 1/8" on the bottom. The right scroll will wrap slightly around the bottom right of the photo.
6. Adhere the last scroll, making sure that it overlaps the left edge of the photo.
   
   
   
   
   
   
7. Punch a photo corner out of dark pink cardstock and adhere onto the upper left edge of the photo.
8. Adhere the title so that it wraps around the circle.
9. Using a heart sticker from the Doodlebug kit, adhere under the right scroll. To finish, adhere the label over the heart sticker, with the scroll slightly overlapping the bottom edge.
