Step-by-Step: Miracle in the Making

by Christina Padilla (Apr 23, 2007)

I have begun making pages in the 8" x 8" format to document the days before the arrival of my second child. This will be a book to share my excitement, anticipation and love for my new baby who is on the way. Let me show you how I created this page for his or her first scrapbook!

Supplies Used:

Instructions:

  1. Cut cardstock down to 8" x 8" and ink all edges.
  2. Cut patterned papers in one 5" x 5" square and one 2" x 8" strip. Tear one end of the strip of paper and ink all edges. Place the square, the paper strip and the photo on the cardstock.
  3. Place the flashcard on the top right edge of the photo.
  4. Use a StazOn ink pad and the stamps to stamp images on the page.
  5. Cut one 3" and one 3.5" felt ribbon pieces and staple to the page.
  6. Cut desired number from gaffer tape and place on top of the photo and add mini stickers.
  7. Finish the title with large velvet letters and add the tag corner to the left bottom corner of the page and add the journaling with the Sharpie.
