Step by Step: Sweet Girls
Although more often than not I work with a single 5" by 7" photo on my layout, I see that I am turning more and more to the 4" by 6" size. For this layout I liked both pictures equally so I decided to work with the two in the smaller size. This opens up the layout for a bit more journaling and some cute flowers too! Supplies: Instructions: - Cut a 4" by 12" piece from the orange floral paper. Trim the right edge with mega scallop scissors. Ink edges with Colorbox Tangerine ink.
- Adhere the scalloped flower paper strip to the left side of the page leaving a ½" space on the left.
- Type out journaling in a 4" x 11" journaling block. Leave a 3" space in the middle of your journaling.
- Print journaling onto white cardstock. Trim the right edge with mega scallop scissors. Ink edges with Orchid Pastel ink. Detail the edge with the Precision Pen. Add atop the orange flower paper.
- Punch a Giga scalloped circle from white cardstock. Punch a Mega scalloped circle from pink cardstock. Punch a large circle from Turquoise Stripe paper. Ink edges and adhere stacked circles to form a flower. Adhere a flower Jellishment to the center.
- Adhere photos to the right side of the page. My top photo is one inch from the scalloped paper edge and one inch from the top of the cardstock.
- Adhere the second photo 1 ½" below the top photo.
- Add "Sweet Girls" stickers. Add various flower stickers.
- Add rub-ons of the girls names along the side of the bottom photo.
- Lastly, add the Paper Frills strip across the bottom. Use four different color brads in the openings.
