Step-by-Step: Treasure

Gather up your supplies and then complete a layout in 30 minutes. "Treasure" is versatile enough to dress up or down depending on your needs.

Supplies:

• 3 sheets coordinating cardstock (CS1, CS2, CS3)
• 3 sheets coordinating patterned paper from Memory Building 12" x 12" Page Kit - Bunkhouse by Chatterbox (PP1, PP2, PP3)
• stamps
• buttons
• chipboard
• acrylic paint
• ribbon

Here's what you do:

1. Select background cardstock (CS1) and set aside.
2. Trim CS2 to 11" x 11" and adhere to background cardstock (CS1).
3. Trim CS3 to 10" x 7½" and adhere 1" from top and sides of page.
4. Trim PP1 to 10" x 2½" and adhere directly under CS3, making sure that margins are even.
5. Trim strip of PP2 to ½" x 12" and adhere over seam between CS3 and PP1.
6. Paint chipboard button and set aside.
7. Trim another strip from PP2 to measure 1½" x 12".
8. Trim PP3 to 1¼" x 12" and adhere to PP2 leaving a ¼" margin above and below this strip.
9. Adhere that strip 1½" from top of page.
10. Thread ribbon through chipboard button and adhere to upper left corner.
11. Adhere photo and embellishments as shown on layout.
12. Journal and stamp sentiment as desired.
