Step-by-Step: Fairest of them All

by Christina Padilla (Feb 26, 2007)

Not all Halloween pictures have to be scrapbooked with the traditional black and orange. This sweet picture of my niece dressed as Snow White needed a color palette that complemented the pretty colors of her dress. This Making Memories Vintage Hip Kit had the perfect combination of paper and embellishments to make this photo look even sweeter!

Here is how I did it:

Supply List:

Instructions

  1. Cut small-floral print paper to 8.5" x 11"; cut a 3.75" x 10" piece of cardstock; cut a 4" x 9.25" piece of polka dot paper and ink all edges.
  2. Layer pieces of paper on top of cardstock with adhesive. Add a 3.5" x 5" piece of notebook paper on top of the polka dot paper.
  3. Place 5" x 7" photo 1.5" from bottom and ¼" from the leftside of the page. Add photo corners.
  4. Use stickers from the kit for the title and trace around letters with pen to add depth to the stickers. Use pens to finish off the title
  5. Cut the metal frame from the kit in half using scissors and tie two 3.5"-inch pieces of ribbon and rickrack to one corner. Add to corner of title.
  6. Cut two pieces of rickrack (5" and 7") and place .5" apart, overlapping the photo.
  7. Layer with mixture of chipboard hearts, stones, journaling tag, buttons and flower.
