Step by Step: Chatterbox Bunkhouse Kit

Using a kit made completing this layout a snap!

Supplies:

• Chatterbox Bunkhouse Kit
• Bazzill buttons by Junkitz
• Sakura Micron pen
• Memories ink

Instructions:

1. Use a 12" x 12" sheet of patterned paper as your background. Trim paisley patterned paper to 12" x 6 1/2" and adhere to the top half of the layout. Trim striped patterned paper to 5 3/4" x 2" and adhere to the bottom left corner of the layout 1/4" from the edge.
   
   
   
2. Print your journaling on light blue patterned paper and trim to 5 1/4" x 3" and adhere to the layout at the bottom right corner.
3. Trim another piece of striped patterned paper to 3 1/2" x 6 1/4" and adhere to the top left corner of the layout approximately 1/2" from the edge.
4. Trim light blue patterned paper to 2" x 6 1/2" and layer over the striped paper.
5. Matte two 4" x 6" photos using the light blue cardstock and adhere to the layout. Crop a third photo to 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" and place in the middle of the layout overlapping the striped paper at the top.
   
   
   
6. Use your sewing machine to stitch across the top. I used FiberScraps Tintz to dye my thread to match my layout.
7. Add your title using letter stickers and photo corners. Embellish with tag, ribbon, brads and buttons.

*Note: I inked the edges of all my papers prior to gluing them down.
