Product Review: Therm O Web Sticky Lines

Adhesives are an essential component of scrapbooking. I always look for better adhesives, especially for thin pieces of paper, ribbon or other embellishments.
To attach Sticky Lines, peel the clear plastic off one side of the adhesive, stick the exposed side to the item, and then peel off the clear plastic from the other side. To finish, adhere the object into place. While using Sticky Lines, I found it helpful to cut off the part of the adhesive you want to use before peeling off the plastic backing. For example if I was sticking the adhesive to an acrylic embellishment, I would cut off a section of the Sticky Lines that would be the same length as the embellishment. For best success, follow these directions. If you try to take them off with your fingers the adhesive will stick to your fingers and create a huge mess. The Sticky Lines adhesive is very sticky and holds tightly to all kinds of scrapbooking products including cardstock, ribbons, flowers and acrylic. Be careful not to accidentally put something on top of the exposed adhesive as it will stick to the object, making the object and the Sticky Lines useless. The adhesive is stretchy and easily reshaped. It can be reshaped from a line into various shapes. Be careful, though, since the product can stick to your fingers, unravel and quickly become a blob of adhesive. The one negative to Sticky Lines is the cost. It cost about 36 cents per line. You can get about 300 mini Glue Dots for the cost of 10 Sticky Lines. To keep the cost down, use them for products specific to that shape such as ribbons. Sticky lines works well with all types of paper embellishments. It is a great adhesive to add your adhesive choices.
