Scrap It Simple

I hated dealing with posts, screws and straps, so... One of the things I disliked most about current scrapbooking albums was that in order to add a page, I had to have three hands; one to hold the page down, one to push the cover over the posts, and a third to turn the screws. Plus the agony you have to go through to change the order of a few pages, especially with a strap hinge album, should be considered torture. There had to be a better way! Over the last two years my mother and I have perfected a totally new scrapbook album and page protector system. My album is called the Scrap WrapTM. It is based upon a hook & loop binding system. Pages can be added or removed in seconds, and my patent pending protector pages lock your designs in place with a locking system that seals your pages on all four edges so that nothing can slide out. Seeing is believing Think about how your album looks once you fill it up. Does it resemble a very large doorstop similar to the album on the left below? ![]() The reason for this is because in most current albums, the spine, (the area that you push the posts or straps through), is the thinnest part of the page, and as you add embellishments to your pages the thicker the rest of your album will become. The thicker the pages, the higher the ski ramp. ;-) The Scrap Wrap is different because every protector page is sandwiched between strips of hook and loop. This gives the spine greater depth than the rest of the page, thereby evening out any height differences across the page. Your pages won't tear out I don't know how often you show your albums to people, but I have two toddlers (Jake: 5, and Zach:3). They have their own albums to add their own creations to, and they are constantly opening and looking at their albums. Do you ever have any of the holes in your protector pages tear? Or in the case of a strap hinge, do the staples pull out? Well imagine how secure a page would be if you could spread the stress of tugging and turning across the entire length of a page. The Scrap Wrap uses 10 1/2" strips of hook and loop on every single page. I can lift up my album by grasping at one of my pages and lifting; can you do that with a post or strap album? "Variety is the spice of life" As of right now, we have 48 different styles of albums. We have solid colors, themed prints, and faux leathers. We are adding new styles all the time as we find fabrics that we think would be interesting to someone. Below are just six examples we have to choose from. ![]() Where to find us Scrap It Simple, Inc. 10% Discount through June 30th for Scrapjazz readers.
